I bought these shoes as a replacement for my husband’s pair which finally broke after about 12 years of regular use. He absolutely loves them! He said the comfort was better than his former pair. If the quality remains true to Keens of the past, this was a worthy investment.Perfect amphibious shoes since your feet don’t slide out the front when wet like all of the open-toe sandals out there. You can swim across a creek, then jump rock to rock, confident you will stick the landing. Seriously, if you are active and would get them wet, get these. They need some break-in time, but soon they conform perfectly to the shape of your foot. This makes them unbelievably comfortable without the bouncy material like in my other sandals use. I regularly hike in them if I plan to get wet, unless it’s more than a few miles maybe.Small river rocks that get inside are easily removed by shaking your foot underwater briefly. But at the local lake, if I get into thick mud or small, sharp rocks I have to take them off to clear them.High quality. Keen are the best I tried knock offs they where junk. Keen last comfort the bestThese feel better on my feet than my Nike shoes. Good for wearing on the beach or streets.Great quality as always but seemed to be a smaller than expected. These sandals are easy on and easy off. Very comfortable like our keen hiking boots which we are both on our second pair of. We love keen products. Well worth the money. We live in the country and they get heavy use.I bought it for using in rain or am we hikes when the weather is hot and works perfectly. Provides good arch support.I noticed in the reviews plenty of complaints on how tight the fit is and that one should order a 1/2 size up. I took a chance, ordered a half size up and glad I did. Initially they were snug all the way around. I stretched them by hand and continued to wear them. I’m pleased to report that they fit like a glove now and I can slip them on and off with ease. They certainly attract attention but more importantly is is how comfortable they have become after the initial break in period. I generally walk a lot, around a mile before coffee in the morning and a lot more after that. I walk on a variety of surfaces from asphalt to trails through the woods.Keene customer service treated me with outstanding service in the past so I figured “why not” and I’m glad I did. This sandal is markedly inferior in build and materials to previous Keen H2 versions I have bought. In particular, the footbed appears to be just single material, black thermoplastic, and makes my foot's sole sweat and consequently slide around. My previous H2s (a brown version) had a footbed that was more sophisticated, including a (synthetic) suede top, which was much more pleasant to wear, especially in warmer weather. The supplied product information is insufficient to determine if one's colour choice affects the build of the sandal or to ascertain other features that might have been downgraded over time.Excellent sandals, true fit, comfortable, feel very durable and i also am liking the nylon over my previous Leather ones, (Had three pairs of leather Newport previously).I really like Keen Newport sandals as the front bumper rand helps stop stones dirt etc entering the shoe.I have also just received a pair of Merrell all out blaze sieve mens, but looking at them both i would say the Keen build quality better than the Merrell ones.My only gripe is they do tend to wear down around the heel area quite fast if used for land trekking / walking but i suppose the clue is in the title Hydro, so i suppose water sport is there main forte. My shoe size is 10 UK. I ordered size 11 as US sizes run small. These sandals felt more like size 9 UK.I attempted to return and order size 12. Much to my surprise the price went up to £66 from the original £46.I will not spend that amount for a pair of sandals but would have done if they had remained at £46.I am pleased that I spotted the price hike.Arrived quickly which was good as I wanted them to take on holiday .I would class myself as a standard size 8 (42) , the length is fine with about 1.5 cm spare, but the width across my toes is tight, there is a neoprene layer underneath the outside layer and this is the where the problem is, even wearing them with no tension on the outside straps they are still tight. After about 1 hours walking I found I had sore areas on my feet, I have since been using them for water sports which is my main reason for purchasing and they are great but do take quite a while to dry. I will have to continue with the walking, I am sure they will eventually wear in but would have expect them not to be such a snug fit so you can then adjust them to fit using the outside tensioners , I never have a problem with the width of my shoes and from other reviews I expected these premium sandals to fit betterIve had my first pair for well over a year and they have been worn extensively. They are comfortable and provide decent toes protection whilst hiking in them as well as using on the beaach and for boat wear etc as they are unaffected by wearing in the water. I have just bought this pair gto use a sslippers as conventional slippers never seem to last me - stretching or otherwise failing. These last pretty robustly and are proven in the field (and beach etc!).As always. my reviews are dependent upon whether I would repeat buy. The answer is yes, and I have.
