So I went home for lunch today and started doing some cleaning/picking up around the house when the text alert came through that these shoes had been delivered. After ripping through the packaging like a kid on Christmas, I quickly tried on these adorable shoes.Couple things to note - I have fat ankles and the ankle strap was a little tight. Never fear, the material stretched a little after some wear and I didn't even notice the tightness I felt at first. Secondly, the zipper was pretty stiff on the first go at putting the shoes on. It's been my experience that this too will loosen with wear. Thirdly, there is a plastic sticker on the bottom of the shoe - make sure to take that off before walking. Otherwise you might slide across the floor like I did. Luckily I caught myself and ended up just doing a spectacular impression of Tom Cruise in Risky Business.On to the good stuff - did you look at my picture? These shoes are adorable!!!!! But here's the best part - the wedge/sole material is kind of sponge-like making for a supremely comfortable shoe. After prancing around in front of the mirror for a couple minutes (ok, 10 minutes), I wore these shoes for the next 30 minutes doing housework (laundry, dishes, etc.). So comfortable in fact that my feet weren't very happy when I returned them to my sensible business shoes.Love this shoe and plan to buy it in every color!!!*If you buy these- MAKE SURE YOU BRING A BACK-UP PAIR OF SHOES*I bought these heels in black YEARS ago and loved wearing them because they were sturdy and comfortable, especially when you take into account the height they give you. When I saw that they came in the tan color I had to get them. I ignored the other reviews that said the sole falls off easily because that hadn't happened to my black ones. I just figured those ladies must stomp around like Clydesdales while I merely float like a little dove. WRONG! Put me in the barnyard-animal category because the sole ripped right off the heel as I was leaving a meeting with a client. It was only the second time I had worn them and both times were for less than 6 hours.To add insult to (what could have been) injury: I decided to pull out my black ones and give them a go. I put an extra pair of black shoes in my car to be on the safe side and went to work. As I was walking across the parking lot, I kid you not, the ENTIRE sole just came off. Not just at the back- the whole bottom of the wedge just decided it had taken it's last step and hit the eject button.So now I have lost 2 pairs of shoes in 3 days. If you still dare to buy these; I would recommend learning how to fly or at-least make sure you always have a back-up! Good Luck*Also- Yes I tried Gorilla Glue. No, it didn't work*I usually dont review products, but because I really love it sooo much, I want to write a review before ordering another pair. It fits me perfectly, and it's really cute and comfy to walk it. 100% recommended!! =D btw, my regular wedges size is 5.5***Update review on the second pairs***I gave 5 stars for the first pair, but I'm giving1(even 0 if they allow me) for the second one, so the average stars is 3. Like I mentioned above, I don't really write reviews on my products, but this product is really stood out. I guess it depends on your luck. You might get the most comfy wedges or the one that you prefer to walk on your bare feet instead. The second one I bought is the white one. It looks cute and everything, but I am returning it because something around the zipper area keeps scratching my skin and it is really painful. I would assume it is a part of a zipper that sticks out, which is the plastic. I'm very disappointed because I thought the wedges were so cute, and that's why I ordered the second one. Now that I didn't have good experience with the second one, I would say good luck with your order!***UPDATED*** I wore them today, lots of compliments and very cute. I normally wear and 8.5 these are a little big I'm afraid if my feet sweat or get wet I'm gonna slide in it. I do wish the cork was a better material it is kinda shabby. However I'm exited to wear them again.They arrived on time and are super cute! I think the fake cork looks a little cheap. I wear a 8.5 and ordered this size it is a little big. I will post again after I have worn them.I'm thrilled! I don't know what possessed me to order an 8.5, but I'm glad I did. Usually I order 9 if they aren't wide, since my feet are wide.It takes a minute to straighten the toe straps, but they fit snugly and comfortably. Really beautiful shoes.My only problem is zipping them due to my "plus sized ankles." But as others mentioned, I think they will stretch out just fine.So here's an update... First wearing... At church for about two hours... The heel of the left shoe came off of the sole. Easy enough to fix, but first wearing? I know they're cheap, but still!Super cute shoes that are comfortable for all day wear. The only concern for me was the bulkiness of the strap around the ankle and how loose it was. While the shoes still look cute and I still wear them, I'm always conscious of the ankle strap and wishing it was a tad bit smaller and tighter. However, I've had these shoes for a little over a year now and they are holding up nicely. I haven't lost any rhinestones and they still look like new.These shoes are very comfortable and are very cute. The reason I didn't give them five stars is because they are not made well and where the sole connects to the cork bottom there is an area where you can see it seperating. I'll still keep and wear them though. It is only obvious if you are staring directly at the shoes.First of all, the shipping time on these shoes was very speedy. I opened the box and the shoes were neatly wrapped. I unwrapped the top and the rhinestones are so elegant. I put them on and they are so cute and comfortable. I wore them to Las Vegas and walked about twelve miles in them on the strip no blisters and still was able to wear them the next night with my dress! I love that you can wear these shoes with a dress, jeans, or shorts. They are definitely one if my favs, and my 14 year old daughter is ordering a pair in her size!
